A beautiful redheaded woman created when the Wefter shoots the Obsidian Codex and Rubric crafts his strongest desires. When the Wefter zaps the codex, it is sent into the aether of dreams. It is drawn to Rubric because he seems to be the only one that can help it. So the codex manifests itself as Elysia in Rubric’s dreams. She is the embodiment of both elements and the gateway to other worlds. She is pursued by Mr. Krake and Mr. Teele because it becomes their duty to retrieve her and by Rubric because he is in love and seeks an escape from his current world.

She slowly begins to turn into the paper and ink of her original make-up. She is compelled to reach the Font at the summit of the Many Storied Stair, but she isn’t sure why. When she reaches it, she disperses into hundreds of pages which get sucked into many different worlds. This allows Rubric and some others to leave the current world.
